I never thought of myself as a sentimentalist, but if that's what you call someone who has been writing poems and snapping photos since she was eight, then that's me.

I love capturing things of beauty and significance. It forces me to slow down, to pause, to appreciate. Photography immortalizes precious memories. It's image poetry. Magic.

And I can't get enough of it.
